Our process includes the evaluation of more than 750,000 genetic markers, complemented by more than 10,000 personalized variants, carefully selected to provide additional data of clinical value. We use advanced technology that ensures the accuracy and quality of the analysis. As technology continues to advance, we plan to incorporate more extensive tools or massive sequencing techniques to provide even more up-to-date and accurate information, in line with the latest scientific advances.

Conditions for repeating samples and obtaining results

tellmeGen is committed to delivering results to all users.

In most cases a single saliva sample is sufficient to obtain the results. However, occasionally it is necessary to obtain a new sample because the concentration of the DNA obtained and/or the quality of the sample is low and does not meet the minimum quality criteria to provide reliable results. This is generally due to incorrect sampling or problems in obtaining the sample (dryness, infections, use of medication or various pathologies).

If the first genetic extraction and analysis process does not produce results, tellmeGen will contact you by email to offer you the option of repeating the sample collection, DNA extraction and analysis free of charge. You also have the option to request a full refund, excluding shipping and handling fees (€50). You have 3 months from the receipt of the email to inform us of your decision. If we do not receive a response within that period, we will consider the sample as void, and a refund will not be possible and the process cannot be repeated at no additional cost.

Repeating the sample collection, extracting the DNA and analyzing it a second time does not guarantee that the results will be satisfactory. There are exceptional cases, in which it is not possible to obtain results from saliva/mouth swabs and a blood sample must be taken. tellmeGen does not offer the service of obtaining blood samples.

The saliva sample analysis may be repeated up to three times. The cost of the analysis of the third sample shall be borne by the client. The analysis will not be repeated a fourth time. In these cases the amount paid for the analysis will be refunded minus the handling and shipping costs.
